The Early Learning Coalition of Broward, Inc. (ELC) has contracted with 2-1-1 Broward to provide Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Services effective July 1, 2015.

What is CCR&R?

The ELC is contracting with 2-1-1 Broward to provide family education and support services. This includes general information, education and referrals to all legally operating early care and education and school-age programs available to Broward County residents with children ages birth through 12 years of age.

Who Should Call CCR&R?

All residents of Broward County having questions about child development, child care services, school-age care services, affordable options, and other family services is invited to contact the Resource and Referral services program, without regard to income or individual circumstances.

How Do I Access Services?

CCR&R services are provided by telephone. Parents can call 2-1-1 Broward to speak with a Resource and Referral Specialist. The Specialist working with the Parents will determine what specialized information or services will best meet the families’ needs. Each family will be given individualized information on choosing an early care and education provider /child care provider. Additional information regarding community services such as screenings to determine developmental milestones, financial assistance, counseling resources, and other health and human resources is also available.

Hours of Operation?

Child Care Resource and Referral Specialists will be available by telephone Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm and Friday 8am-5pm at 954-537-0211.

During times of crisis, please dial 2-1-1 or 954-537-0211, to speak with a live Counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
